The only way to stop the sparkling when connecting the battery is to have a parallel connectors with a resistor that you connect first to reduce the current flow, and then do the main connector… or use a switch that bypasses the resistor… You should try electric unicycle…

the speedometer is probably wrong cause you didnt/cant change the sprocket its running, on the street legal version i can change the sprocket im running so it shows the right speed.

I have the same board - pls share all updates you implemented or planning to do. There aren't enough support groups for these Chinese efoils. Your channel could be it.

Magnets may not be the issue, it's could be the cord length. That cord type tends to stretch over time, if so it may drag on occasions, and might just need to shorten it a bit.

Awesome! Cut those winglets on the front wing and made the stab 1/2 that cord distance and this thing will rip!

Hopefully My schedule will allow me to join you more than just one ride next time. Ohh, GetFOIL is now out of Buisness since June. 😢 A major bummer for all owners. Now you can say you got to try a dieing breed 😅. I don't recommend buying a used GetFOIL if anyone else is reading this. It wasnt fiberglass that made it heavy. It was actually a carbon board with more layers of carbon than other brands. The 50Ah 40lb battery is what made it heavy. It was the heaviest, biggest, widest (poor swing-weight) battery on the market... Just goes to show that range isnt everything. Having the most range (big battery) sacrifices handling and fun. A 40 lb battery being balanced under your feet 2.5 feet up in the air is no easy feat.

To change the pitch of your aerofoil you can perhaps try what the guys at Veem are doing with propellers. They make props with plastic inserts which change the pitch and also for these revolutionary Sharrow props. Perhaps you mightn't need to make a new wing, just add a slot and a piece of plastic.

I would very much like to see how you re-angle the foil to raise the board nose, and see how much better the performance is with a prop with proper tips for use without a duct.
